Date brush cleaning machine with rotating rollers inside a date factory

Clean, polished dates ready for packing — gentle enough to protect the fruit

Brush rollers lift dust and stems off the surface without bruising, and polishing brings the fruit up to a finish that raises its price on the shelf.

What this machine gives you

A finish that raises your price

Polishing brings out the shine and colour — the same fruit simply looks more expensive in the pack, and that difference gets paid for.

Gentle on soft varieties

Soft bristles at a controlled speed clean fresh dates without scratching or splitting them.

Hand-cleaning labour saved

What used to occupy a full table of workers now runs continuously over a set of rollers.

How it works

Rotating brush rollers lift dust and stems off the surface of the fruit gently. The dry type works with brushes and air alone; the wet type adds an overhead water spray and then air drying. Alternating flat and spiral rollers lengthens the cleaning path while moving the fruit forward at the same time, with polishing that brings up its appearance before packing.

What you can configure

We build it around your factory — not a fixed model you take as it comes.

  • Dry or wet: brushes and air alone, or an overhead water spray with drying after.
  • Rollers and bristles: roller count and bristle material — soft for fresh dates.
  • Adjustment: brush speed and roller gap adjust to the size of the fruit.
  • Polishing and separation: a polishing unit, and a vibrating belt that separates stems before discharge.
  • Sanitising and drying: spray or ozone sanitising, and a drying belt after washing.
  • Line integration: linked to sorting and packing — polishing lines reach around 1.5 tonnes/hour.

Frequently asked questions

Dry or wet for our dates?
Dry is enough for dust and stems. Wet is the choice when the fruit genuinely needs washing, and it comes with air drying after.
Will the brushes damage soft dates?
No — soft bristles are fitted and the speed and gap are set to the fruit size, which is what protects fresh varieties.
What maintenance does it need?
Monthly bearing checks with food-grade grease, plus keeping an eye on bristle wear, since bristles are a wear part.
Will it work on our factory's power?
We review your site specification and confirm 380V / 60Hz compatibility before you order.

Do your dates need dry or wet cleaning?

Tell us your varieties and their condition at intake, and we will recommend the type and roller count.
